A new computerized method for determination of driving point resistance is proposed. It is suitable for manual calculation as well. It proceeds step by step in a logical way. The network is reduced to a single resistance using parallel, series, star-delta and delta-star reduction techniques. The method is successfully tested manually as well as by simulation on the computer.
