ABSTRACT

The most important fact in VANET (Vehicular Ad Hoc Network) is vehicle position. The original paths are changed by Prankster and Malicious attackers into fake packets and harm the VANET. It can be also termed as congestion in network. It has been seen very often that some malicious vehicles passes wrong information to the network through which the vehicles get distort from their original path. Previously various have been come out. But in this research , the advantage of genetic algorithm will be presented to detect the prankster attack.
